Brenda Harris – Author & Book Showcase Website

This project centers on creating an engaging online presence for author Brenda Harris, designed to showcase her books, personal brand, and connection with readers. My goal as the web designer was to build a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate space that highlights her published works while also sharing her story and personality as an author.

The inspiration for this project came from Brenda’s desire to connect more closely with her audience and present her growing body of work in a professional, unified platform. I focused on clean typography, warm imagery, and intuitive page structure to create a welcoming reading experience. The layout guides visitors smoothly from author introduction to book details, events, and contact information.

This website was created using Wix, allowing for a responsive design that performs well across desktop and mobile devices. I implemented consistent branding, simple content organization, and user-friendly calls to action to help readers easily explore titles and learn more about the author. Overall, this project reflects my approach to designing author websites that balance aesthetic appeal with functionality and reader engagement.
